Between 2016 and 2018 Transitions registered 88 candidates for employment support services. Engineers, Architects and Business Services professionals.
51 of those have achieved one or more of the following outcomes:
Paid internship – Transitions
Paid internship – non-Transitions
Unpaid internship – non-Transitions
Hire – Transitions
Hire – non-Transitions
That’s 55% of candidates went back to work in their professions. Given that around 70% of refugees face unemployment or critical underemployment, that is a good statistic.
