Proven Engineering transferable technical expertise

Here’s another quote from an Engineer/Project Management candidate, successfully hired into a permanent Project Engineer job, following a trial-run paid internship.   This Engineer trained overseas with a 5 year Mechanical Engineering Degree (Equivalent to UK Degree according to UK Naric) He took a UK Masters in Engineering PM, during which he realised that it was unsafe to return to his country,  which was a warzone.     After a year of jobsearching, he found a job in the Media sector but couldn’t attract an Engineering sector employer,  in spite of all the vacancies.   Transitions’ 6 month internship immediately lead to a permanent job with the same employer.

He had applied to dozens of engineering employers.   His skills are now being used in the right sector and he’s working on the process of gaining experience and evidence to become a Chartered Engineer with one of the Professional Bodies.
